so is it just me or does this look like another Evolve situation? all the hype is going to die straight after release. is this really the tf2 killer

i think the difference is evolve has 3 monsters (where you only have the goliath from the beginning and have to win a ridiculous amount to get the wraith) and like, 3 hunters for each class (where every time you play a match there's a lazarus and maggie because they're stupidly strong), whereas overwatch has 21 unique characters and you get them all right off the bat

the only "good" gamemode is the standard hunt, the other ones are really lackluster, and there being rng in the game that could screw over a monster so bad right off the bat was probably a bad selling point too

believe me i was beyond hyped for evolve, i still think it's fun but there's just no one ever playing

You haven't been following the game like some of us have if you thnk this. I don't think it's a TF2 killer but it sure as hell ain't dieing anytime soon after launch

We don't have anything against you, Alternative, but we have indeed tried the game out for ourselve's to come up with the conclusion that this is an actually good game worth our time.

Evolve had the potential to be better than i't actually is, but i't had been bolted down by a plateaura of bad decision's, example balance gap's, dlc harvering and general poor execution of most gamemode idea's.
