Why would you delete the files on disk when you upload to Soundcloud in the first place? Unless you're really stretching for storage there wouldn't be a reason to delete them.

A lot of people delete their stuff when uploading it somewhere.

What I'm saying is that even if they received donations from their users it probably wouldn't be enough to cover their losses, much like an adhesive bandage wouldn't be enough to treat a broken bone in someone's body.
