the sun is not massive enough

when it runs low on hydrogen it'll exit main sequence and become a red giant

when that red giant begins gravitational collapse it'll compress and start burning helium

as the star runs out of mass, the outer layer eventually overcomes gravity and becomes a planetary nebula, with a white dwarf (the sun's core of fusion biproducts) at the center

A black hole is denser than a neutron star.
Both are very toxic, but i'd give it to a black hole for it's insane radiation compared to a neutron star's.
