That's the last I'll say though. I won't be changing many people's minds, if anyone, but I just wanted to get that off my chest. Even if it was a colossal waste of time. That doesn't matter, though. I'll still be voting for Sanders. If he wins, he wins. If he doesn't, I'll be sad, but that's just how it is. Thankfully Canada isn't that far away.

Most, if not all of what you said is addressed in the video I posted. Honestly it would be quicker and less painful if you watched the video instead of us arguing back and forth. I did read your post but Tl;DRs hurt my soul. And replying to them is like driving a screwdriver through my left eye. No offence to you but in the end I would just be typing out what the video already talks about.

Canada is worse. You don't want to be here. As someone who lives in a country with free healthcare and socialist policies. It's loving torture. Or maybe you do. In that case Manitoba = bad.

bernie would win if his supporters actually voted

The anti-Bernie circlejerk is a circlejerk because they don't have anything valid to say against him. loving nobody does. Bernie's like close to the most perfect politician to exist in our generation. It's kind of terrifying and it makes me cry a little.
"how can people not like him when i like him???"

Howso? And I'm genuinely asking: is it that much worse than paying high costs for healthcare and education? Is there any significant problem with the way you or anyone else there is living now? How much of your city/nation is living in poverty, and how big is the inequality gap? Not even for sake of argument - I'll want to know if I'm potentially moving.

Again, get a more credible source. I'm not wasting an hour watching something that's likely to be right-minded biased trash. It's your decision as to how far you want to go to try to convince me otherwise, but I'm not budging.

This, which kind of sucks when I hear people say that they just "don't vote" or similar. Even if they're voting for Hillary or Annoying Orange. Hell, I won't respect their decision but at least they care.

I'm living in the same city as you, and it's perfectly fine here. It's not perfect but honestly compared to the US it's quite good. Speak for yourself m8

Define "high costs" Because from what I can gather it was cheaper in the U.S. to pay for Health Insurance before Obama and was cheaper then it was here. Furthermore it wasn't just the cost, it was also the quality. You're lucky if you don't die in the waiting room in this country.

Is there any significant problem with the way you or anyone else there is living now?

Considering that our dollar is worth only 70 american cents, yes.

How much of your city/nation is living in poverty

Canada has a 2% higher unemployment rate than the US.

and how big is the inequality gap?

Canadians make less per capita then the US.

Also it's going to get much worse from here on out. We elected a borderline handicap into office who has already sold half our gold reserves, gave billions of dollars to other countries to fight "climate change" with no expectation of payback, even though we are in debt. And, when he first went into office he said we would run a 10 billion dollar deficit, then after that he said a 25 billion dollar deficit, then 40 billion, then 90 billion, and now it's 150 billion. Also Oilberta, our most lucrative province when it comes to making us money, elected in a braindead hippy party and on top of that the oil industry is tanking so over 40,000 people lost their jobs. Of course the PM and the provincial premier don't care about the money loss and instead want to "fix the environment" by imposing a carbon tax, which is just going to make the recession worse. Also our PM is a massive SJW.

I'm guessing you've never lived in the US or visited it for that matter.

it's an appeal to the stone. IMO Bernie's tax plan would ravage the middle class and offer an incentive for wealtheir individuals to leave the country and/or move their business if possible to avoid higher costs of operation.

Sanders claims he will offset the cost of his programs by eliminating loopholes that allow corporations to move money around to avoid taxes, but it has to be understood that the effect of eliminating such loopholes, as good as it sounds, will push businesses to leave if possible. Lower profit margins would logically lead to increased cost for the end consumer of products or services which are not able to be outsourced. Taxing "Wall Street Speculation" is yet another reason for wealthy individuals to take their money outside of the borders of the US.

The other factor that I think the Sanders plan neglects is that often, investors buy stocks which pay dividends and let the stocks sit for a period of time to collect said dividends. What the Sanders plan appears to be, at least to my understanding, is a sort of 'sales tax' on stocks and bonds. If such a plan goes through, investors will likely seek to circumvent the ludicrously high tax by investing in other markets, such as precious metals or energy.

To conclude my thoughts, it's a terrible idea to target middle-upper class people with often steep tax hikes because it will push businesses and wealthy individuals to leave, which, in effect, leads to less money being raised through taxation and and overall reduction in human capital as labor and assets are redistributed to other areas of the globe which are less hostile to them.

I just lost a huge amount of respect for sanders
he could try and fight to give bears rights and I'd still like him more than the guy who said we should build a wall to keep the dirty mexicans out

He doesn't want to keep mexicans out, he wants to keep illegal immigrants out. To insinuate that illegal immigrant = mexican is tribal in itself.

holy forget if that isn't the dumbest thing I've read today. I can't tell if this is a bad attempt at pandering to minorities (hint: most minorities don't hate white people) or if Sanders found himself in a kafkatrap and tried to wiggle his way out by bashing white people.

a lot of bad stuff comes through the southern border that isn't related to immigration. 64 BILLION dollars in narcotics transported from Mexico to the US are sold each year. Literal tons of illegal firearms are smuggled into the United States by the Cartels. Crime is rampant in border towns as Mexico can not feasibly stop the Cartels. The point of a wall is to deter people from doing things they shouldn't be, which is exactly what smuggling/kidnapping/human trafficking is.

To insinuate that illegal immigrant = mexican is tribal in itself.
lol

why build a wall at the mexican border if he's trying to keep out illegal immigrants from other places

I agree, but I feel like it will require more than something as stupid as a literal wall at the border
