holy forget if that isn't the dumbest thing I've read today. I can't tell if this is a bad attempt at pandering to minorities (hint: most minorities don't hate white people) or if Sanders found himself in a kafkatrap and tried to wiggle his way out by bashing white people.

This isn't the first time https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/02/18/bernie-sanders-declares-he-is-a-strong-feminist-and-honorary-woman/

Canada is worse. You don't want to be here. As someone who lives in a country with free healthcare and socialist policies. It's loving torture. Or maybe you do. In that case Manitoba = bad.

College costs are high just because of federal interference.

wtf are australians so happy about

seeing someone from the outside of Australia

He doesn't want to keep mexicans out, he wants to keep illegal immigrants out. To insinuate that illegal immigrant = mexican is tribal in itself.
okay he's straight up said mexico every single time

lolI agree, but I feel like it will require more than something as stupid as a literal wall at the border
a wall is essentially a force multiplier. Having a wall doesn't mean the border requires zero patrols and resources, but it allows those patrols to be significantly more effective, as a wall would be a great deterrent to the average criminal attempting to bypass it for whatever reason. It's brown townogous to parking lots with a chain link fence around them. Can you climb the fence? Sure. Is it harder to break into the lot vs having no fence? Absolutely. Now imagine a 40 foot high sheer concrete wall. I doubt you'd still try to enter that lot.

you can't possibly be implying that there is a racial connotation to border security.

Define "high costs" Because from what I can gather it was cheaper in the U.S. to pay for Health Insurance before Obama and was cheaper then it was here. Furthermore it wasn't just the cost, it was also the quality. You're lucky if you don't die in the waiting room in this country.
I'm guessing it's due to less funding going towards healthcare in general, which sucks a bit I suppose. We're probably lucky to have really good doctors here, and good medical research in general. That probably won't change much as long as we have our priorities sorted properly.

Considering that our dollar is worth only 70 american cents, yes.
That's not too great, but a currency rate doesn't give a good idea of spending power. Remember how I said that a lot of people here are hardly making more than 30k or 40k a year? That's what I meant. Just having a good ability to buy average things as an average person, like a car, a house, food, maybe a pet, a vacation every now and again, a trip to the movies... there are a lot of families that can't afford some of these.

Canada has a 2% higher unemployment rate than the US.
Unemployment doesn't mean much if the jobs don't pay anything worth a damn. Ties a little into the above.

Canadians make less per capita then the US.
Because we're a wealthy country. But it's still an issue for the top 1% to own more than the bottom 90% of Americans. Equal opportunity, remember?

Also it's going to get much worse from here on out. We elected a borderline handicap into office who has already sold half our gold reserves, gave billions of dollars to other countries to fight "climate change" with no expectation of payback, even though we are in debt. And, when he first went into office he said we would run a 10 billion dollar deficit, then after that he said a 25 billion dollar deficit, then 40 billion, then 90 billion, and now it's 150 billion. Also Oilberta, our most lucrative province when it comes to making us money, elected in a braindead hippy party and on top of that the oil industry is tanking so over 40,000 people lost their jobs. Of course the PM and the provincial premier don't care about the money loss and instead want to "fix the environment" by imposing a carbon tax, which is just going to make the recession worse. Also our PM is a massive SJW.

...But you didn't answer most of my questions very directly, so it's hard for me to know if you're being biased here. And our deficit is $439 billion. I also approve of the oil industry dying off. It sucks that people will lose their jobs, but we have to move on as a society. Fossil fuels are not only harmful to our environment, but limited - that's not up for debate. We were previously projected to run out before 2060 IIRC, at the rate we were using them just a decade or two ago.

Jobs are still important, though. Your government needs to find a way to replace those jobs for sure. In a productive way, though. Maybe towards healthcare?  :cookieMonster:

I just lost a huge amount of respect for sanders
The statement is pretty overly absolute, a fault on his part, but it's fair to say that there are a disproportionately larger amount of minorities in poorer areas than whites. I live in Columbus, and my route to work passes through a lot of 'levels of wealthy living' and the comparison is jarring. I live in one of the less wealthy places, and am black, for reference.

when I can make loving bank with drugs and all I gotta do is blast a hole in it with some black market c4 hell yeah I'd try and enter that stuff

but the real problem here is the price tag, which would be  i n s a n e

one of my major concerns about Annoying Orange is still this:
http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-Annoying Orange/
78% of statements mostly false to "pants on fire" (and only one "true" statement, seven "mostly true")
if the vast majority of things he says or believes are outright fabrication or false, i just can't bring myself to think that he's a reasonable choice for a leader. ofc that's putting aside factors like his abrasive personality and somewhat unclear policy stances

he's Not My Guy™. no thanks. no Annoying Orange, no cruz, no service

There absolutely is. It's never blatant because if you say or do anything like Annoying Orange's said in regards to this, you'll be labeled as a tribal, and it'll hurt your image, especially important if you're famous at all lol.

There's a little bit of racism in all of us, even myself. I grew up in a mostly white community, and I do have the tendency to be a little more afraid of approaching a hoodied black person than a white person. But I try not to let it affect my decisions or active judgement involving others, and one most certainly shouldn't let it affect the treatment of someone's basic human rights. Something we've had trouble with as of late.
