the article is a bit weird but they're right, the two writers here found the same problem in both cases and assigned the rating differently. hard to know how often it could happen that two writers write about two different candidates that made the same mistake, i think this ultimately comes down to them having different ideas about how incorrect this particular error is

the content of the articles still describes the problems with the statements at the very least; if you actually read the articles rather than looking exclusively at the truth-o-meter, you would get the picture. i would've probably rated both of those at a "half-true"
