again what does that have to do with the ideologies of Muslims?  I've read plenty of forgeted up stuff in the Bible that Christians do not emulate.

Old or new testament?

Old or new testament?
Both (I think), but we've already established that scriptures in the Old Testament are sometimes a part of Christian ideology (even though they're not supposed to be?).

The scriptures in the Old Testament are a part of Christian ideology. The laws set for Israel are no longer binding for Christians, however, since Christ ushered in a new era. Here's a simple explanation and here's a longer one with law changes over time.

In the new testament was it "if you do x you will go to hell" or was it "if you do x you will be put to death"?

"if you do x you will be forgiven."

the entire point of the law in the bible was that it was impossible to follow because humans are sinful creatures. it was meant to demonstrate that humans can never be like god, and can never earn entry to heaven on their own accord.

Quote from: Supre Contra Gentiles Book 1, Chapter 6
On the other hand, those who founded sects committed to erroneous doctrines proceeded in a way that is opposite to this, The point is clear in the case of Muhammad. He seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh goads us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected, he was obeyed by carnal men.

As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity. He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the contrary, Muhammad said that he was sent in the power of his arms—which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.

What is more, no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning, Those who believed in him were brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Muhammad forced others to become his followers by the violence of his arms. Nor do divine pronouncements on the part of preceding prophets offer him any witness. On the contrary, he perverts almost all the testimonies of the Old and New Testaments by making them into fabrications of his own, as can be. seen by anyone who examines his law.

It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity. It is thus clear that those who place any faith in his words believe foolishly.

Who's ready for Drumpf to completely embarrass himself at the inauguration?

The next few years scare me. Annoying Orange and his staff are not what i feel a president and the cabinet should be. I wont be referring to him as a president until he proves he's actually capable of it. I'm sure he'll be good economically, but there's more to being a leader than money. He cant take any criticism without having a breakdown on twitter, he has no class and treats people as if there's only 2 options, either they are all for him, or they're just lying haters. he has no debate or reasoning skills nor can he admit when he is wrong.

some of Annoying Oranges half-assed cabinet choices are going to forget up and then all the conservatives will be like "... BUT IUT WAS LIBERL PLOT!! SABOTAG" or some other unintelligent bullstuff

I'm not a big fan of the 'Not My President' mantra because we should absolutely take collective responsibility, liberal or conservative, for what's happened here. Just because we didn't vote for him doesn't mean that we can pretend that he's not representing our country and not threatening to erode decades of social/environmental policy and foreign relations.

On the 20th, he's our president, and he'll have all the powers of a president. That's a reality we should probably be more vocal about.

In the new testament was it "if you do x you will go to hell" or was it "if you do x you will be put to death"?
Mostly the former, but that's not the point I'm trying to make. What I'm saying is that large groups of Christians have, in the past, collectively committed atrocities and used religion to justify it. But we, as a majority-Christian nation, aren't first to blame the religion for why that happened.
