Judging by the math you did I get a whole 2 gumballs out of this stuff being cut. Those 2 gumballs are worth more then any of the stuff this program funded and quite honestly I could probably make better "art" with them then anything that came out of this program as well.

The Canadian art system is pretty strange. The artists end up only ever exhibiting in Canada or in group shows where it's just "Hey check out the O' Canada show, it's got people in it and stuff"

You know what I think? I think you want to kill the NEA because you're unskilled and you have no artistic ability. You resent the fact that other people are making a living doing something you can't by making art that you don't enjoy. So you want to destroy a program that costs a taxpayer $0.46 just because you think the art is 'pretentious' and don't want it to exist anymore. You're effectively destroying people's lives out of spite, not even for any sort of meaningful financial gain.
