electric vehicles don't really do much as things stand anyways, and the infrastructure to support them isn't really here yet. that energy still has to come from somewhere. the focus should be on researching, developing, and implementing renewable energy sources in place of fossil fuel power plants (they're pretty ready to go already, the initial investment just needs to be made); which are run by big power companies that might find it appealing to have the prices of their fuel determined by market forces in the long run.

I actually liked Carly Fiorina's policy for border control.  Not essentially a wall, but more technologically advanced resources to monitor illegal immigration.  We have the technology and the means, and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than a less than intuitive multi-BN $ construction project.
