It kinda does, let's be honest. 15-year-olds aren't really known for their superior grasp on geopolitical issues. Radical terrorism is a big problem that affects everyone, but you're arguing with people who had to grow up with the worldly implications of the gulf war and then the immediate response to 9/11. That perspective on the issue really changes how people view it.
