Welfare is generally enough to survive, but as raising wages for lower-skilled jobs is seen as radical leftist terrorism, those jobs have gradually supported families less than welfare. Needless to say, this consolidates large demographic groups into welfare-reliant states. This is the system destroying the middle class and the working class, driving us closer to the existence of only 2 classes: The impoverished and the elites. This is, for all intents and purposes, fuedalism rearing its head once more. This is the path capitalism is going down, and it is impossible to reverse without an uprooting of the system.
Neither is being a fat forget who eats until his gut bursts.
