Well I'm glad you're not in a difficult situation, but there's really nothing I can do to make my own better. I can't just move to a better paying job without higher education (That I can't afford), and I'm already doing a difficult enough job supporting my family in a place I can already barely afford.
If I lose coverage, I cannot afford new healthcare, I cannot afford to switch jobs to something that gives insurance and I cannot afford insulin without it. What's the magical fix to my situation?
implementing laws that encourage competitiveness will fix your problem, in particular being allowed to buy coverage from other states and lowering the cost of bringing new drugs to market
I think the average drug takes like 2 billion dollars to reach the consumer from conceptualization to mass production, if you lower that cost then they won't have to cover that amount of money being spent and drugs/healthcare will become cheaper as a result
removing restrictions on healthcare plans can also help bring costs down and encourage competitiveness; people think that removing federal healthcare and leaving it to private business would mean that they'd cut corners everywhere they could, but after Obamacare and the provisions that came with it it'd be business Self Delete to deny people with pre-existing conditions and stuff like that
with that in place, you could get a plan tailored to you, with all of the stuff you need and none of the things you don't
those are some of my suggestions at least
Are you ready for them get even higher? Because that's what this does
it makes no sense whatsoever that they'd get higher given that private businesses have a dual interest to keep you alive and to make money while government has neither of those interests
prices will get lower because they want to attract people to buy their healthcare plans, that's what happened with phone networks and cable
