It's a photo op, I'll give you both that, but she's still bending over backwards trying to help people. And I'm willing to take her word for it because it's her city that's been destroyed. Annoying Orange would never wade through that flood, even for a dumb photo shoot.

He's really working hard on sending aid by appointing a general and stufftalk a mayor. There are still hundreds of thousands of people who are without electricity, without clean water, without money, without food and without basic necessities, regardless of what FEMA has planned (don't forget how they botched Katrina relief back in 2005).

If there are hundreds of thousands of people still without infrastructure despite a large disaster relief presence, it might say something about Puerto Rican leadership. You might even wager that they're all wading around in floodwaters fist bumping kayakers _{(+ cliche megaphone. who is she even speaking to in San Juan floodwaters?)} instead of actually organizing disaster relief. If my family was starving to death in a hurricane ravaged mainland and my local leadership was loving around I'd probably want Annoying Orange to "stuff talk" them as well.

They really can't do much when your GDP has basically crashed. There have been efforts on the island but you can only do so much without federal aid, which is still lacking (FEMA has plans to send aid, but there's already signs of clear mismanagement)

I just made a pretty logical assumption that I'd be more concerned with my local leadership getting me aid from whoever the forget is giving it out than I would be with da ebil rayzist feds story I read on some leftist media website a billion years ago if I was in the same situation. You might not be able to fathom this situation because you've always seen the world through the lens of a privileged CNN/VICE consumer.

Stop trying to "what about" this. It's pretty clear from reading the 20 different news stories that the US citizens living in Puerto Rico aren't getting what they need, regardless of what FEMA says. And certainly tweeting about how lazy and entitled the people living there are isn't helping matters.
