I mean, if courts are the ultimate arbiter of truth on matters like whether Cosby raped somebody, then clearly this guy is innocent. Having an opinion on criminal behavior outside of the precepts of a legal court is clearly unacceptable.
The reason I am in favor of taking people to trial is because that's where the majority of hard evidence gets to be displayed. If that hard evidence is shown out of court, then that's fine too. It's why I think that Harvey Weinstein did what he did; because we have the tapes.
While there's not a lot of hard evidence for Cosby, the evidence that got displayed here clearly convicted this guy of at least involuntary manslaughter. The reason he was let go was because the prosecution was stupid and charged him with second-degree murder instead of the former charge.
Even then, does it matter? The guy is an illegal immigrant who's slipped into the country at least six times. He has prior drug offenses. He should not have been here. In fact, he WOULD not have been here had San Francisco not been a sanctuary city.
