The US was staying out of it until their coincidentally placed boats in specific locations of Pearl Harbor were attacked.
You really need to learn to stay out of arguments where you are absolutely out of your depth. You sort of know how to turn subjective forum arguments in your favor, but you have zero clue what you are talking about when it comes to anything politics or history or anything of substance, really. Japan attacked the US, and quite successfully so. The US Navy towards Japan was almost completely crippled. If the US hadn't dropped the bombs, the world war wouldn't have ended for at least another 5 years, leading to millions of deaths on both sides and the political climate would be completely different today. Russia would have taken the opportunity to attack Asia at its worst, expanding its influence on the world, and more importantly, the US, which probably would have changed the outcome of the cold war on a massive scale.
