this is probably the biggest risk involved in invading north korea. even if you bombed the forget outta pyongyang and some key missile sites, if any of them caught on that they were being bombed by the west stuff's gonna go down.

Not really, everything they have is absolute stuff. Look at these rockets they launch and let everyone know about, those are the best of the best of what they have and they still often forget up some how. The real problem is the stuff ton of artillery they have along the border aimed at South Korea, more specifically the artillery they have aimed at Seoul.

Quote
North Korea experts Victor Cha and David Kang posted on the website of Foreign Policy magazine late last month that the North can fire 500,000 rounds of artillery on Seoul in the first hour of a conflict.

That would absolutely destroy Seoul, and I'm sure there would be chemical weapons involved which means anyone not killed by being blown up or having buildings collapse on them still gets to look forward to dying a terrible death.

NK's newest missiles are about 1/3 as strong as the bombs dropped on Japan in the 40s
Even the most generous estimates put their nuclear technology 50 or so years behind us
thats incredible to believe in todays age of copy/paste.

What nuke doesn't destroy japan only will make them more technologically intelligent.

After 2 nukes japan now looks better than detroit.
that's because the united states occupied japan after the war and pumped millions upon millions of dollars into it

Can't we just assassinate Kim Jong already

If there's anything history has taught us, it's that placing sanctions on a vengeful country is never a good idea

if wwiii starts today then I'll have an excuse not to take my a+ test

Also I find it interesting how karma works in east asia.

Japan pillages rapes and conquers part of china, manchuria and korea, and essentially oppresses them for over 20 years.
Japan goes supa commando on the pacific and polynesian islands
Japan gets hit twice by the world's first nuclear devices
Japan gets targeted by North Korea's missiles

I'll be honest, the only thing the world will lose if japan gets attacked/destroyed is the economic benefits

oh yeah? then explain anime

oh yeah? then explain anime
you can't explain witchcraft

So, say North Korea detonates 6 nukes in Japan by some technological miracle. What would happen after?
