do you feel sad and hopeless or do you not feel any emotion at all
It's more of like a void most of the time. Back when I had my first experience with depression right after my great grandmother passed away I felt like I saw the world in black and white and I pretty much just moped around feeling hopeless.
goodluck friend if u need some help PM me
Alright.
do the pills help you, or do they have no effect?
They help me get through the day. Usually they keep me calm and in a pretty neutral/good mood or state.
are you gay
Im biloveual yes.
1) What are the side effects of said pill
2) You often can't even tell when you're talking to the person face to face
1) They change how I act/my personality in a way. Though this can be a good thing. When I'm off the pill I can get really emotional or pissed VERY easily. With the pill I'm more mellow and take things less seriously.
2) This. Talking to my psychologist I was pretty calm. Though when I answered his questions he saw that I was going through it. I remember a few questions out of probably 20 being "Do you feel anxious abruptly through the day or at all?" and "Do you ever feel an overwhelming emotion through out the day? Does it cause you to not want to do certain activities or become less social?"
Some people with depression have this thing called dissociation, where everything sort of stops being 'real'. The best way I've heard it described is that what you're seeing looks like a video game or something you're viewing through a computer screen rather than actual life.
What accompanies this is sort of a really uncomfortable desensitization to everything, including pain. In order to cope with it, some people cause themselves pain, which they can still feel if it's heavy enough.
u kno when u smoke a cigarette u get relaxed?
its that. its only for the moment, and a lot more destroying and painful, but it makes u feel better.
Ah okay. Thanks for clearing that up.
