latest update in a few quick words:

- new case, with lots of new skins, incl. new styles for the existing knives

- prime matchmaking. requires rank 21 (and linking your account to a phone).

- new players get an xp boost. competitive moved to rank 2 (instead of 3)

- you can no longer use money earned in the current round. no more sniping mid to buy a mac10 in pistol round.

- new smoke grenade sound, that's louder and weirder. smoke grenade sound no longer covers defuse sound (rip ninjas)

- in my opinion, very, VERY terrible addition: all guns make a loud CLICK when shooting with low ammo. audible to enemies. can't be turned off. your usp-s' silencer is now useless. enemies now always know when to cuck you, you 3 bullet lil stuff. did i mention it's louder than gunfire

- negev, m249 and mag7 sounds revamped. the start of a "sound update".

The new negev sound is like pure love, whilst the m249 reminds me of rambo/arnold, but yeah, the low ammo addition was so loving bad

Looks like they just patch fixed it, its now quieter and client sided. Doesn't say if you can totally disable it yet

• test out all resolutions til you find something you like
• test all settings for that matter
• play smart, dont play for picks
• watch pro players and brown townyze how they play
• don't have bad fps
• have a decent mouse
• dont use scroll wheel to switch weapons
• aim at head level at all times
• learn smokes for maps
• find a group to play with
• watch warowl videos for how to use certain weapons and stuff
• have a good mindset, you can win any game, it's not over til its 16
• dont blame mistakes you made on others, blame yourself
• playing with better players, doing this will make you better in the long run, unless its like playing with globals at sem, be realistic
