Avoid falling into using the p90 consistently, and until you learn how to spray properly, just use a 3 burst or 1 tap, don't fall back into using p90's or anything you can spray like a cigarette because you are getting killed alot. I think casual uses a matchmaking system but its open to anyone who can direct join the server (friends usually), so people will be better than you there, deathmatch is a good place to start.

Whenever i rushed in CS:S i never used the M249, it just spreads way too much for my tastes.

Is there any workaround to the corrupt replay download bug?

I'm not sure but the entire replay may be corrupt due to a huge spike of lag that happened in the last 2 rounds of the match (when we just started winning for sure), allowing some cunt who wasn't lagging at all to run around and kill all of us.

either delete and redownload, or maybe restart cs go or just give it some time and redownload it.

I've done everything everything including verifying, downloading a video before it then downloading the corrupt one (which does start it downloading, might be an actual fix sometimes)

I'll try again tomorrow
