Imagine if it made mothers extra strong though, to the point where ladies are the majority of soldiers and they have to get pregnant first. And they're stronger and stronger as the pregnancy continues and they have to weigh up the worth of going into battle as a super soldier versus the risk of entering labour mid-battle.
