the death penalty is inefficient and a waste of resources

prisoners should be hooked up to machines that make use of their brain's processing power and/or their body's ability to generate energy (like a hamster in a wheel)

yes there are?
What would you consider a "correct" moral?

that sounds terrible lol

bernie's new plan for a reliable source of renewable energy

I don't think anybody should be killed for their actions, and I don't think anybody should have the decision to kill someone.

There's two reasons not to.

1.) What if they find someone guilty, kill him, then a couple years later they found a different guy.
2.) Sometimes death is the better option. Why do you think people who go on rampages or shootouts end up killing themselves after? They'd rather be dead than face life behind bars.

The death penalty saves prisons a lot of money that theyd be spending caring for these terrible monsters for the rest of their lives. Plus it sends a very clear and concise message that the state doesn't tolerate the crimes that criminals commit worthy of the death penalty. It's ludicrous to say "oh, you murdered a whole family? thats alright buddy we'll take care of you and feed you for the rest of your life". No that starfish deserves to be executed.

1.) What if they find someone guilty, kill him, then a couple years later they found a different guy.
This is an extremely rare and extremely unlikely scenario. I don't think you could even find any cases where this has happened in the past 50 years. To get found guilty of such a crime they'd have to first find the evidence he comitted the crime to be beyond a reasonable doubt. This is like saying we shouldn't drive cars because a few people are killed in car accidents every year.
The good of the many outweighs the good of the few, or the one.

this is exactly what they want. they don't want to live anymore. Killing them would end the misery of jail for life.

Jesse Tafero, Carlos DeLuna, Cameron Todd Willingham, Ruben Cantu, David Wayne Spence, & Larry Griffin.

All of these happened in the past 50 years, and some are even within the past 20 years.

These are people that were executed then later found innocent, this doesn't even mention the people who've been in jail for 10+ years that are later found innocent.

Dude he is being sarcastic lol
oh... well then (I am bad an sensing humor some times)

What would you consider a "correct" moral?
the wrong-ness of ethnocentrism

The logic of "avengence makes everything better" especially involving human life is pretty mideival and sick
