Author Topic: Harvest Medieval Barracks  (Read 5494 times)

The build looks nice. I haven't seen anyone create a barracks like that before. Usually the ones I see are just a single room filled up with weapons, this is a nice change.

I also made a smaller barracks here.

eeugh, tony you should really listen to the others
the deep black and bright brown alone are really an eyesore to the build
you should probably have some grey around to compliment it or something

very spooky, i like it

The build itself is decent, but the colour scheme is atrocious.

I only have 1 brown to work with.

The color ingame looks way better

Lego doesn't use that color grey for the wood. It doesn't make sense.

That color grey does not exist for these kinds of lego castles.

you could use a light grey to make it look sort of like faded wood

Lego wood is brown or black with this theme.

Light grey is not a valid option.

Light grey is only used for stone.

Black is only used for stone and wood.

Grey is only used for rocks and iron.

Brown is wood.

This is how 80-90s lego works in terms of color. I don't have many valid options here. I'm not using anything other than the default colorset and I am not changing the theme from classic v8 to modern blockland.

It's an artistic style choice.

you should probably take a pic with shaders or shadows to see if it looks better with that on

That's fair enough that it's your design choice.
But it does seem like you're limiting yourself by not having even a slightly more varied colorset.
I don't know how you can make it more appealing with the slim range of colours.
