Author Topic: Way of getting rid of City RPG's  (Read 4972 times)

its impossible to get rid of something that is already embedded deep within the master server

city rpgs are equivalent to sleep cell agents

when summer roles around, all of a sudden this idea pops into mind: "HOST CITY RPG"

its a vicious cycle of undoing

it'll take a lot more than this bs for me to actuate the lap of the gods verdict, lol.

not serious--making fun of backdoors

I host CityRRGs 25/7
only on daylight savings time swap days ;)

OP, I think that I found an even better way to end CRPGs! Try it with me now..

Step 1:
Find some rope

Step 2:
Noose yourself.

What's that? You can't tie a noose?

I remaember when my BL still worked that whenever there was a City RPG that all my Server got was only 2 to 3 Players.

And that for multiple Days straight....

Thats why i dont like em much but thats no reason for ruining other Peoples fun man.

people will host what they want. even if its a crappy gamemode or server, you have no right to try to shut it down just because you don't like it. complain about it and criticize it all you want; that's the appropriate thing to do. just don't go around trying to crash or ruin the server just because you personally dislike it.

I don't really play City RP servers anymore because they all usually go something like this :

Join server> Start chopping wood for money > sells wood > has money and tries to get a job > all the jobs have education levels you have to get before you can start on a job > goes back to look for education > education cost more than what you have > goes back to chopping wood > starfish decides to kill everyone he sees in sight > spawnkilled > decides to stop trying to get an education and become a criminal > becoming a criminal cost money > goes back to chopping trees > in self defense of a criminal that started hurting me I kill him > cop sends me to jail because I hurt a criminal > quits server.

But wait I forgot about one thing... FOOD, oh yeah right it takes even longer to get to point A because you have to spend money on food all the time or else you dies of starvation and spawn where all the spawn killers are.

And to make matters worse some servers let criminals steal your money, so there's always people camping the banks so that when you come out it might be somebody with a gun but the worst is when its a sniper, he just waits and kills people after their money is dropped takes it, trying to kill the criminal is almost impossible and people rping as cops wont do stuff usually, if there's an option to buy a handgun, you mind as well as forget it because you would have no money to buy the damn handgun, and even if you manage to get one a cop will then arrest you for owning one.

Then the cycle continues, I really do not find these enjoyable at all anymore, if there was a simpler city rp with a proper cop system I'd play it.

On the one hand, this attitude is super stuffty.  On the other hand, his "le epic trolls" appear to be just playing the game normally.  It's like "man tf2 sucks, lets get in there and steal the blue intel.  That'll show 'em".

It's not CityRPG that's bad. It's the execution of the servers that's bad. I have seen decent CityRPG servers.

The cityrpg mechanics in themselves are completely flawed and really need a workaround. Did they move away from the "get this job and sit doing nothing to earn money" yet?
