In terms of the legalization of marijuana, I'm not actively for it or against it. I'd say I'm closer to being in agreement with it being legalized, but being strictly moderated. Studies have shown that it can be extremely helpful in treating various ailments and it is less dangerous (and arguably more enjoyable) than tobacco use, which remains legal yet restricted to this day. If marijuana were legalized and I was in a good place to experiment, I probably wouldn't mind using it once just to see what it feels like.
On late term abortions, I'm against it. People shouldn't be allowed to make the decision on when a fetus = human and tearing apart a baby just because the mother doesn't want to care for it is not okay. She should carry it to term and put it up for adoption if she truly can't or doesn't want it. However, on very early term procedures, such as Plan B and other emergency contraceptives, I don't have an issue with those AS LONG AS they are carried out within a week or two of possible conception.
On universal healthcare, I don't really have a stance or the knowledge for it. I can see pros and cons for it but neither stance really stands out for me.
