MINDHIVE IS NOW BACK ONLINE.

SORRY, FORUMERS. THERE WAS AN INCIDENT AT THE AUGMENTED HORIZONS CORPORATION. ONE OF OUR RESEARCHERS TURNED TRAITOR AND TRIED TO DISCONNECT JOSHUA FROM MindHive EARLY, ALMOST RUINING OUR SCIENCE EXPERIMENT. THAT RESEARCHER HAS BEEN FIRED OUT OF A CANNON INTO THE STRATOSPHERE.

PRAY......FOR......CTHULHU!

Joshua prays softly....
But nobody came.

Joshua's bowels are already empty, so he can't crap himself!
Joshua frantically looks around for somewhere to run, but Koschei is blocking the window, and the Zombies + Ghosts are surrounding Joshua!
Zombie1 claws at Joshua, striking the left arm twice!
Joshua loses some blood and screams in horror.
Zombie 2 claws at Joshua, striking the face!
Joshua curls up into a ball, begging for mercy.
The rest of the zombies rip and tear at Joshua!
Joshua sobs incoherently.
All of the Ghosts continue their ghostly wail: "JOOOOSSSHUUUUA.... JOOOSSSHUUUAAAA...."
Koschei the Deathless punches Joshua with his ghost fist, striking the face!

The zombies, however, are not ghosts and will still claw the stuff out of Joshua!

Joshua is clawed at by the zombies again as he tries to lunge at Koschei!
Koschei phases through a wall before Joshua can tear off the gas mask!

Joshua tries to put his hours of playtime into Metal Gear Solid V into good use, lunging at a zombie and trying to bodyslam it into the ground!
Zombie7 is too heavy to lift!
Zombie7 claws Joshua in the leg.

"Okay Joshua, listen up, this is serious. Right now it's kill or be killed. These neighbors of yours aren't human anymore, so don't feel remorse. Assuming they'll allow it, I'll warp you a kickass sword. However, don't be surprised if you need to end up using improvised weapons. Throw your duvet at them and jump out the window. Start running, you can worry about injuries later. Scream for VendOS and the other subject.

Joshua throws a pillow at the masses, shoves Koschei out of the way, and leaps out the window while screaming for VendOS and Subject 6024!
But nobody can help Joshua. He brought this on himself.



Joshua makes a rough landing on the ground and injures himself. He continues screaming for mercy, but nobody will help him.

The zombies in Joshua's bedroom now have to slowly shuffle their way down the stairs and into Joshua's backyard, giving him time to run!
The Ghosts phase through the walls, float down to ground level, and continue wailing at Joshua!

Ghosts: "WWWHHHHYYYYY, JOOOOSSHUUUAAAA?"

For God's own forsaken sake, we can't transmit any items.


Try putting your fingers in Koschei's eyes. Might do some damage. If that fails you might as well literally kick his ass.

Koschei keeps dodging Joshua's attacks! There's also the fact that he's a hovering venge-filled GHOST, after all!

Use NOTHING to fight back

Joshua can't use nothing because it's nothing and nothing is nothing so nothing will help him.



Koschei hovers above Joshua.



Koschei the Deathless: "I told you my name was Koschei the DEATHLESS, you fool! All I ever wanted was to have a barbeque! But no, you had to gouge my loving eyes out! Don't bother screaming for your little rat pals, Capitalist Pig! They're all dead, anyways!"



Joshua still has hope! He might be able to flee into the garage(to loot a weapon) or to the escape right around the corner, or maybe even back into his house!

Joshua hears a truck in the distance, approaching his house.
Joshua also feels the ground shake as a ear-piercing roar sounds out in the distance, accompanied by loud, heavy footsteps.

Koschei and the undead Communists are already defying Common Sense
And VendOS's mere existance is also defying Common Sense
And Joshua surviving having his organs shredded and coming back to life is also defying reality
Augmented Horizons doing an experiment like this and not terminating it after the BLF tortures Joshua is also defying common sense
The cops not coming after Joshua for killing Koschei is also defying common sense
Donald Annoying Orange being a living cardboard cutout also defies common sense
Can't use logic to get out of this one, because there is no common sense in the universe this thread takes place in

At least, that's what I think what should happen.

Gone doesn't necessarily mean deceased. Besides, he was away building the wall for Annoying Orange. I doubt ghosts would go that far out of their way to nab him.

(Side note: I couldn't find a "grill" model on the Steam Workshop anywhere. Found one on Garrysmod.org right after updating, way too late. Oops)

Correction: There is SOME common sense in the MindHive universe, but "fun and relatively un-serious" overrides "realistic to the point where it's BLF-unfriendly" most of the time

VendOS is still alive(Koschei was referring to Subject 6024 and doesn't know about VendOS), but VendOS is over at the Mexican Border still building a wall before Donald Annoying Orange can. VendOS is too far away to help Joshua.

Joshua reaches the front yard of his house, and hears the sound of an engine dying. The truck is empty, blood staining the insides.


There are a few flares and a flaregun outside the truck. Awesome! Time to even the odds!

Meanwhile, the ground continues shaking even more violently.



Koschei and the Ghosts are closing in!



Joshua hears another loud ROAR and looks up to see the source of a noise: A bear-sized.... REALLY VAGUE THING!
