sounds like the alliances shouldn't get involved but should let germany and japan duke this out without involving the rest of the world

also breaking a contract tends to be bad for future business, who's going to do business with a japanese company when the japanese government breaks their contracts?

i'd be down for that if it, like, made sense for that to happen

also i'm not the one who planned to forget up the game

Well an alliance is designed for two parties to support one another in each others conflicts, so I don't see why alliances should be exempt in this case at all. I agree with Cypher on this- Japan made its decision and should have to pay the consequences for not upholding a formal agreement between two parties, especially one that has land on the line.

Avoiding war through a tension system that ignores something as roguish and intense as stealing land, and not even after a year of joining an alliance leaving it to hide behind another alliance to try and escape repercussions is really stuffty.

There's absolutely no reason to void the war, the reasons are completely valid and hiding behind the tension system is stuffty.

planning to forget up the game? have you noticed that you, japan, are allied with the russian empire? don't even talk to me about historical accuracy dude. i'm not going to sit here and get pushed around and

the fact that you're posting OOC communications is pretty, just... sad, i guess

China starts locally producing farm equipment and procuring farm equipment from other nations that are willing to sell.

The Korean Government begins constructing battleships to guard their coastal waters.
Gun Batteries are made along the eastern coastlines

Korea cancels trade with Japan, despite breaking the treaty.

the fact that you're doing dealings out of character to fix the game in your favor is just... sad, i guess.

you did tell me you only joined my alliance to get the islands and you always intended to be allied with russia, so

stevejenkins joined beforehand as a friend of junc with the intention of running a middle course in the war

as far as i know that hasnt changed as he keeps cordial relations with both germany and the triple alliance

the fact that you're doing dealings out of character to fix the game in your favor is just... sad, i guess.

Not saying that ooc dealings are alright, but...

You're literally using a game system to avoid consequences for your IC actions. That's equally as "sad".

this simply isn't true, tristan asked him if he wanted to be france and he said yeah

The reason I mentioned the tension system is because starting a world war in 1897 is silly

Ah yes, forgot to mention that part.

Korea demands that all Japanese Troops are removed from the Korean Mainland, if Japan refuses we will use Military Force to imprison any Japanese Soldiers who attempt to resist.

heres all my messages with steve in the last couple months

juncoph and steve can testify i havent been in group chats with them in the interim

this simply isn't true, tristan asked him if he wanted to be france and he said yeah
my apologies, i meant to clarify and say he didnt join because i told him to

More troops sent to Korea. Troops occupying the country already clinch the capital and major cities. And more come from villages to reinforce.
