I don't want to start a "I'm better at helping people fight", but I would like to think that I've got enough experience now to know the difference between pure attention seeking and someone actually serious about Self Delete.

you're implying he has any idea what to do in this situation, people like this are usually social outcasts and have no one to talk to outside of places like this, so they take it online where at least they think they have some leverage

He mentioned specifically his five friends, and I really doubt it's too hard to work out that talking to one (or all) of those people might be a good way to start working at the problems. I just can't fathom why he would think that setting his public Steam profile to what he did would fix or change anything.

Why was this thread necessary? I don't know INH enough to say wether this is an attention grab or an actual problem, but if it's the latter all you are doing is mocking someone with depression which is pretty terrible.
