Exactly, Everyone has a fair chance

That is exactly what you don't want to happen in a roleplay. Without any stake in conflict, it's just boring and stupid.

There are modifiers and context to it.

How so? Does each character have separate statistics?

and on about the ban. Like I said I understand that it is harsh but I was not in the mood to deal with it. I just clicked the ban button. I had been dealing with trolls alot that day. Its easier to just boot them out and deal with the bans later.

It is definitely easier to just ban everyone, but that's how you make people scared to try anything risky in the roleplay lest they piss off an admin. The impressions you leave on people outside of your regular group is important, otherwise your server stagnates and dies.

I think the reason you claim to have so many RDM'ers is because you never let anyone know that you have a dice-based combat system. It would be like if I ban anyone with the letter W in their name from my server, but never explain why or list it as a rule. Then I bitch and moan when I get drama'd saying that it's commons sense or that the person didn't read my lore.

You aren't surrounded by trolls, you're just a bad host. :/

We are giving the players a fair chance to go against the order.

Its common sence. And no there was no rule about that.
Common sence not to freekill on a roleplay sever lol
it's also common sense (by the way it's "sense" not "sence") to actually sneak in a sneak attack, you can't immediately expect everyone to read your mind and know your definition of "roleplaying"
the way you described it just isn't how it works, you don't make something into a turn-based rpg without anyone else knowing it, to be completely honest that's bullstuff
If you dont like the sever and its contents of how we roleplay, You can leave
you're completely right
key words "how we roleplay"
he wanted to just plain roleplay, he clearly had no damn clue what you meant by "roleplay", so you immediately ban him without notice
it really looks like you're just making excuses because you actually banned him because you got killed by him, and even if that's not the case it's still really dumb to ban someone for your fault
If you dont like how the admin deals with the players leave.
that's not how it works, way to be dismissive
if he doesn't like how the admin "deals with the players" then he tries to work it out, and if that doesn't work then he makes a drama
in this case he had no chance to work it out considering that he was banned, so he just made a drama
lol thats cute
Hahah you're so funny, you encounter a valid point and just respond with a straight insult
Like i said. if you dont like the sever and its contents you can always hit the disconnect button
yes he can, but unfortunately you were killed and immediately banned him for being "killed in space" or whatever

you both are pretty childish imo considering that you would ban someone for a rule that doesn't even exist, that's like denying a job application because they got an opinionated answer """wrong"""

lol this is funny
I know dude. Really gets one of those strong belly-laughs out of you.

lol this is funny

Thanks for demonstrating my point, it really helps.

Agreed dude, Hey maybe we could like make some jokes and stuff.
Thanks for demonstrating my point, it really helps.
lol

In this one sentence you've not only admitted your inability to handle criticism, but also your inability to administrate properly. But to your credit, the server's rules are clearly ridiculous to begin with.

lol i giggled

I'v been hosting the server for a few days. No one has had any major problems with how it works. People join and from what I get. People enjoy it. If they dont they leave.  The system is not hard to understand  and the best way to learn it is to just play. The Lore is  very well constructed. The map is high in quality and I try my best to make fun interesting events to mix up the inter RP drama.  I'v stated my side of this.

He did not take the time to figure out what he was pulled into in any way. He just made an assumption and it got him in trouble. I will adjust his punishment when I get the time but he should have played more to understand how things work.

It's clear these dudes aren't going to listen to any criticism. If this isn't a clear cut example of why their server is a complete waste of time then I don't know what is

hey tsume can you take some serious constructive criticism or are you gonna keep arguing like an 8-year-old would

Ok. Stating my opinion. I understand that i broke some rules
that was really more dismissive than opinionated but whatever
Nah your just a bad person in general. You should read the rules.
what? there wasn't anything saying it was a dice-based combat system though, why's he a bad person for putting that in constructive criticism

you should still probably state somewhere that it's a dice-based combat system though so people don't get confused

I mean, the map was pretty cool.

Can we stay on topic? This is about Zealot Freekilling. Its better to ask about how things are done then to just assume. If he felt that something was not explained well enough he should have brought it up in OOC before even thinking of making a character that would start out a "rebel"
