yeah mainly the pools and the coastercam things were pretty cool but the rest is kinda eh
although sometimes I prefer to mess around on 3 for a while and have fun with it

3 was very empty. The sandbox map (!!!) was entirely flat grassland, building new areas wasn't as fun in general because it was so much more time consuming, the terrain system frequently broke paths and rides alike, the scenery unity system (where if you mixed two different scenery "sets", you got penalized), the tacky half-baked DLC packs. I could probably go on.

i do agree with cheese, i enjoyed 2 more than 3 but maybe thats because of the multiplayer.
i never played either when i was younger so it was unbiased for me.

well 2 is basically 1 with more features
and with openrct2 they've added a bunch of stuff so if you wanted you could make it feel like 1
also a lot of people say the scenarios from 1 were better than 2's and I agree but people have converted the scenarios from 1 so that they work in 2 and openrct2 is working on making it so you could just move the scenarios from 1 to 2 with no problem

2 is basically the same game upgraded. literally inferior, but its still good

rct3 is a 3d rollercoaster tycoon and yes you can ride the rollercoasters and stuff

RCT2 was 2d. RCT3 was 3d. Clearly, the new RCT is going to transcend our mortal relm and go into the 4D.
