Apparently the high school I went to is putting in gender neutral bathrooms.

To be honest, im confused as to why people are mad/upset about this. As long as I have my male bathroom I don't care if there are gender neutral bathrooms and I don't see why anyone else should. The only counter I can think of is that it's a waste of money which is fair enough, but that really isn't our problem.

Literally anyone can use these gender neutral bathrooms. It's not a waste of money if it's filling a legitimate need for a bathroom

But why would there be need for another bathroom if they already have enough? I get the reasoning for not wanting to make people uncomfortable but is that enough for the potential monetary value of building the bathrooms?

Gender neutral bathrooms are sweet. There's one at my school and it gets no traffic and has a door lock. It's essentially my executive bathroom.

It's also where people in after school clubs go to bang. So, yeah. If your high school wants to make one, I say let them do it.

I'm just going to put this out here. The school already has 5 male bathrooms and 5 female bathrooms with around 1500 kids attending. I am putting as much information as I know. I will add more when I hear more to clarify things. Right now all I know is that they are adding 4 "gender neutral" bathrooms. Idk what they mean by that specifically and I don't know how they're going to be layed out.
