Has the forum always used HTTPS? It does now.

Neat, though.  Glad it's somewhat safer now, though.  Does this cause any problems with guests connecting to the forum?

This is because of the 'page contains unencrypted elements' effect. If you embed images from a non-https site, then the page is no longer considered 100% secure content. So the green padlock disappears, but the important data is still being delivered securely anyways.
