This is the same type of people that whine about their 'free speech' at protests but then deem anything that they dislike 'hate speech'.
Censorship in Europe over the political opinions, especially those condemning Islam, is going too far.

Scary words on the internet

okay but that video is loving hilarious

Freedom of speech does not exist, has not existed and will not exist

they're arresting brothers for being satirical? that's pretty forgeted

how can you advocate for freedom of speech and then suppress people's points of view wtf

yeah idk if people stuffposting on the internet poses any kind of national security threat. a lot of people will use this as an example of the whole PC gone too far thing and while idk about that specific argument i definitely think this is a pretty unreasonable suspension of due process. hopefully there will be a public response large enough to make them rethink their course of action

lmaoo free that man lets be honest that video was gold

also isn't the whole loving purpose of the internet to share and discover ideas of any sort, whether they be radical or passive? like, everyone on facebook or youtube posts their opinion on things and if they want to worship Riddler or hate against a certain group, it should be facebook or youtubes job to get rid of their posts. but the police doing the job for them? that's crossing lines

What the forget, are the police there SJW's too?

1984 style police state when?

This is exactly why millennials as a whole piss me off. I'm not going to be one of those stuffheads that gets woefully nostalgic over times I never lived in, but seriously guys, what the forget.

It seems whatever protest is going on, the protestors invoke their rights to freedom of assembly/expression/speech to justify their gathering, but some of the same people do a complete 180 and say that the second amendment is invalid because the Constitution is old.

Many groups of people use it to justify their own ridiculous ideas and actions, but cherry picking the Constitution to allow rights you like while attempting to invalidate ones you don't is nothing short of hypocrisy and it really gets under my skin.

The other place I've seen it is college campuses. Whatever BLM/SJW bullstuff that's going on, they invoke the bill of rights to justify their posters/protests/borderline hate speech towards those that disagree, and then abuse the school to try to censor people they disagree with (i.e. calling campus police about chalk drawings with political slogans, pulling fire alarms during assemblies of those with different points of view to disrupt them, fabrication of rape accusations, etc etc)

but this video isn't from the united states, so why are you mentioning the constitution and bill of rights

because the complete sensitivity and vulnerability to mean words is so incredibly prevalent where I live that it is inescapable and the anecdotes I provided are things I personally have witnessed that pertain to the topic. Just like the European police arresting people to censor any sort of dissent, esp. anything unfavorable about the refugee crCIA, there are many people in the US that believe that freedom of speech only protects things they agree with and wish to impose similar consequences on people that say such things.

europe made their bed now they gotta sleep in it. they have nobody to blame but themselves.
