speaking of space jam: when space jam 2 is out i'm betting that nike is going to make a pair of space jam lebrons kind of like the space jam jordan 11s

the world needs this

i dont understand why anyone buys expensive shoes. these bright orange carpet-color pieces of garbage that people wear around their feet and drag across the floor have never once impressed me. i'm pretty sure those things arent 4x more comfortable than a $50 pair of shoe. so you're throwing money away

I'm sure you would understand if someone said this about gaming computers

people who waste money putting neon lights in their computers are dumb or rich or both too

Not exactly comparable. Gaming computers have better hardware that can run software objectively faster. Nicer shoes are essentially just more-celebrated pieces of plastic crap.

You're right though that people will derive utility from whatever they want. If you've got awful taste in things, then power to you. I'll take the gaming computer.

i get made fun of in school because i dont wear 200-dollar top-shelf ''quality'' shoes.

I'd recommend a pair of converse. Pretty standard, pretty casual, won't set you back that much at all.

I mean in reality as long as you aren't wearing love offender 11's and cargo shorts you oughta be okay

we're all gonna die one day so why not invest in something that makes you happy in the now
sounds very consumeristic

i really love everyone calling it a waste of money lol

spending YOUR money on what you want and it satisfying you is not a waste of money whatsoever lol

I don't want to defend paying $200+ for shoes but if every pair of Jordan's were affordable then everyone would be wearing them and they wouldn't be so interesting.

I wouldn't spend 200+ on Nike's (unless its like that 80s stuff), but I would spend around 100 for some nice quality boots that will last me forever.
