Yes, I came in a bit hot last time I posted in this thread. The point I'm trying to make is that I'm so sick and tired of people running around, stuffting on big games, especially before they've actually had a chance to try them.
No Man's Sky isn't some sequel or a clone of a pre-existing game. It's an interesting spin on a couple recent ideas with an interesting artstyle. The material we've seen indicates that there's a lot to see and do, and the fact this was made by a small team is all the more impressive. I really dislike indie games, but I might make an exception for this if I find the spare cash in my wallet at release time.
People like Satan, Frequency and Muzzles are clearly just trying to get a kick out of being pricks; all high and mighty when they can't even prove their opinions are right. Maybe the game will be stuff...but you can't possibly know that before release. It's people like them that make so frustrated with this website, because any time something fantastic and interesting is brought up you've got to have a whole contingent of people come crashing down upon it.
I can totally dig if you're not interested, but that doesn't mean it's a stuff game. It just means you aren't going to play it. Please don't turn your subjective opinions into objective fact unless you can support your argument with actual evidence from the game itself, of which there's not enough out there to use right now.
