"I make video essays."

KaptainKristian is a relatively new YouTuber that makes video essays on art, character, and media related topics. His detail and explaining of the topics he discusses quickly made him become a popular YouTuber on /r/Videos, and gained fans quickly.
I wanted to make this thread to share his wonderful essays and to discuss the topic he talks about.

I was thinking about posting this in Creative instead, but figured it would catch more eyes here, and the information he spreads should be shared as much as possible.
Enjoy his videos, they are very pretty and eye opening about the creative platforms.

i'm honestly more interested in his cool thumbnails than the videos. not tryna be a richard but his most recent video makes me ask, "why should i care about gorillaz?" and i don't have an answer

cuz it was a very unique and big musical influence

ive never listened to gorillaz so i dont really see that video interesting me but, these are still great nevertheless

My goodness, these are pretty good actually.

I started loving this kind of stuff recently. Video essays and dudes discussing film, video games, whatever set to well edited presentation.

Other channels to check out:
Channel Criswell
Satchbag's Goods
Every Frame a Painting

i just watched the whole channel. im legitimately blown away. i love these

this guy makes stuff like this, though almost all of it is about video games

i really love documentaries and this kind of stuff is right up my alley
