I couldn't give less of a stuff about the NSA. It's my own government that I'm worried about. In the EU they are passing laws for "hate speech" (don't criticize muh refugees). And here in Canada Trudeau wants to make making fun of transmissions illegal. Bill C51 was already passed plus we already have "hate speech" laws for the internet. so if the Canadian government finds out that I post mean things on the internet I could potentially be forgeted.

I'd stick with Windows 7/8.1

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 half of my Asus problems have created blue screens, they told me to update them.. but they are already up to date.

Looks like the poll has spoken that I should stick with windows 7. My mom has a laptop with 10 on it so I'll try to get accustomed to it on there to see if I like it just incase I changed my mind.

One of the main reasons I wanted to upgrade was because you can "stream" your xbox one to your PC to play games. While that is useless for gaming since I have a 60" TV for that, I wanted to start making gaming videos of my Xbone games (reviews or whatnot) but I'm too much of a cheap bastard to get a 200$ capture card. So what I thought I could do was stream it to my PC using whatever the forget microsoft has on windows 10 and then record my computer screen with OBS. idk what do you guys think?

Also how big is the gaming performance between windows 7 and windows 10? I've heard anywhere between nothing and quite a bit.

windows 10 only if you disable all of the privacy stuff, disable cortana and make the windows menu look better (disable the sidebar with apps and stuff)

if you're computer literate you should be able to find and follow good instructions on how to disable all the data logging and spying stuff on win10
