The kid was unharmed nor did the gorilla at any moment showed aggressiveness. This could've been prevented if the stuffty mother would've paid attention to his kid.

Besides, they say that the kid got into the enclosure and even told the mother. If the zoo was built properly, it would've been a hard obby, not a "jump in".

The gorilla was dragging the kid around and male silver backs can become aggressive on a dime. I'm not protecting the child or the mother - natural selection should have occurred imo. Poor kid, though. However, according to our society that we protect and hold deal, its human over animal, so that's that.
