I'm not totally convinced that this was a religiously motivated shooting either. They say he screamed "Allahu Ackbar!" and pledged Allegiance to CIA before shooting up the place but that just seems like something you might do if you are a lonely conflicted psychopath preparing to shoot up a nightclub.
