i personally wholly agree with what you said; islam requires its own protestant reformation(ideally less violent than the christian one though)
and yeah, outlawing them isn't right, for what i've said before on decent-acting muslims: they aren't following their book. western muslims are generally about as much of a threat as... modern catholicism. that is to say, pretty much no threat at all. if they were in majority loyal to the archaic teachings of the qu'ran, though, then i'd put them under "cult" status. same feelings for christians and the old testament, but the new testament is supposed to overrule it afaik
btw honorable mention to the jews of israel for having fought eight recognized wars so far despite the state being only 68 years old
