Well if people who genuinely enjoy the series don't care about that addition, you're just bitching for the sake of bitching. DooM veterans enjoyed new Doom, so my point still stands.

If I wanted a carbon copy of Q3A I'd just play Q3A (or Quake Live).

First was Wolfen, the first of the First Person.
Then along came DOOM, which brought hell to it's knees.
Quake was third, making us loose hours of time to killing each other and hearing the announcer.

And now Bethesda has been going BACK.
Wolfen Reboot > Doom Reboot > Quake Reboot.
