Bolt modding can be risky, but will fix your board.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. The board's toast either way so I don't have much to lose.

Let us start off with my favorite board, The IBM Model M.
That's the one my mom uses. Heh.

That's the one my mom uses. Heh.

If I had a 5 pin DIN to Mini DIN w/ my Ps/2 to USB converter, I would consider using my Model F

found a model m
doesnt work with my laptop tho takes too much power :^(

why are ibm and razer listed as switch makers?
i'm fairly sure that ibm doesn't make switches anymore (like i think unicomp currently makes them or has always???) or never has and razer gets their switches from kalih
also who the hell is montarey
'generic' clone switches have company names as well like gateron, kalih, matias, and outemu

a better poll would be your favorite switch type

i even struggle to use mx reds, i can only really type on buckling springs or blue/green mx's

so let me get this straight
you'd use 5pin -> mini din -> ps2 -> usb
Three converters just to use a keyboard

Actually 2 converters, as 6 pin mini-DIN are the same as PS/2.

So
5pin-DIN -> 6pin-mini-DIN (PS/2) -> USB

i bought a rosewill rk-9000v2 with cherry mx browns, waiting for it to get to my house

Need to free up some time to fix the S key.

When was the last time you cleaned it
