i'm not looking to be compared to i'm looking for assistance, which you're the only one in the topic who hasn't given any.
I actually gave you pretty solid advice. You aren't going to get good at it unless you just have persistence.

Wtf are your fingers like an entire inch in diameter when you press down on them? You might need to lose 500 pounds. Post a picture or something.

Everybody who starts out playing guitar has trouble with this. Like everyone has already said, continue practicing.

It truly is just a matter of persistence. I didn't start out with perfect finger placement, and 6 years later I still don't quite have it. My 5-string major barre chords are god awful. I can do minor 5-string barres and stuff like that. Muscle memory and coordination comes with time. How long have you been playing?
couple months. it's frustrating because my fingers don't even mute the other strings, they only make them buzz horribly and ruin the whole chord.

I understand where you're coming from but showing me people playing the guitar fine regardless of their placement doesn't exactly help my situation.

tbh i literally just measured my fingers and they're 3/4 an inch. the string spacing is only half an inch.

Yep, that's just cause you're new. Warren Haynes is a fatass and he's a legend
