"forces you to be on the constant move"
but is designed around a pace-breaking cutscene button that locks you out for a couple of seconds (less with blah blah blah bullstuff modern FPS upgrade system)
good stuff
not sure if you've actually played it at all, but it really doesn't break it up pace much, let alone at all
the glory kills could be considered edgy, but mechanics wise they make sense. because the game is set in close quarters arenas, there are bound to be times where you bump into enemies, and as a result take melee damage from them. the glory kill system allows you to get yourself out of that situation without risking blowing yourself up with an explosive, whilst still giving off a doom feeling. similar to the skyhook kills in bioshock infinite
trying to look at it objectively, i honestly dont see what people have against the glory kill system. maybe i'm just over thinking it, but i legit feel people give the game too much stuff
