The reason why I pull slavery into the conversation is because it still effects me today.
Yeah, you're loving chained up, flogged daily for "not cooperating", forced to do hard manual labour and at any point could be sold to somebody else who may be a much tougher bastard than your previous owner. And let's not forget all the rape, sickness and emotional damage.

That describes your current life pretty well, huh?

I obviously dont think im wrong lmfao

The reason why I pull slavery into the conversation is because it still effects me today. Plenty of lighter skin people have made assumptions about me simply because of my skin color.
i didn't ask why you pulled slavery into the conversation

I obviously dont think im wrong lmfao
Then oh boy are you in for a rude awakening pal.
The reason why I pull slavery into the conversation is because it still effects me today.
No it doesn't affect you today unless you were forced to pick cotton 24/7 by some rich guys in the South
Plenty of lighter skin people have made assumptions about me simply because of my skin color.
Did they assume you were a person who immediately jumps to "Muh racism"? Because if that's the case then I completely agree with them

Second, be honest. Would you rather live in Africa or America?
This is a stuffty argument. If Africa was never treated as a place for Europeans to plunder people and resources from, it might actually be a decent place to live. People seem to forget that Africa is still recovering from decades of colonialism and the shock of having all established government and most infrastructure ripped out of the ground when African countries regained their sovereignty. Of course there would still be malaria, but you'd be surprised what actual houses and modern medicine can do to stem the spread of disease.

Barring an early end to colonialism, it's true that black people have it better off in the United States than in Somalia. But I'm guessing that if you told that to 18th century slaves, I don't think it would do much to make that experience any less horrible. It sure as hell doesn't justify it either.

Where are thise native americans and used to populate the entire US? Oh! They were killed by white people.

The relationship between native americans and colonists was a really complicated and complex one. The colonists did do a lot of nasty stuff to the natives, and a lot of it might've been due to racial prejudices, but there is a stark difference between your modern white dude and a colonist. I can say without a shadow of doubt that the stuff the colonists and frontiersmen did would not have been repeated in today's society and there is a gigantic gap of cultural difference between the colonists then and white americans now.

i never realized tezuni was a nationalist cuntbag before
will avoid from now on

Friendly reminder that the Indian wars continued up until 1924 in the American southwest.

1942 = Now, apparently. Thanks for the update, my good man.

I assumed what he meant by 'today's society' was industrialized society. Obviously we are not handing out smallpox blankets to Indian tribes anymore.

What I thought it was still 1872

monday =/= Slavery. So wait by your logic black people calling other black people the N word is a byproduct of slavery? I thought it was a culture thing?
