Pokemon don't kill people, people do!

This app is such a disaster lol
an app that encourages exploration and movement as part of the main experience is certainly bound to allow people into situations that they normally wouldn't be in
if you walked around to these places without pokemon go the same thing would've likely happened
but it's not the app's fault

If you think about it:

Pokémon GO Streamer Witnesses a Murder And Is Fired From Uber
The game allowed someone to witness a crime in progress and provide valuable information to the investigators.

Pokemon GO used in armed robbery in st. louis
Police can use knowledge of these traps to arrest people committing the crimes.

Pokemon GO leads a teen to a long lost body.
The body may have been discovered much sooner than it otherwise would have been.

App Forces People To Walk Outside; Many Confused

This app is such a disaster lol

And that's why I like it

Why are people so hyped over P-GO in the first place? To me it just seems like another pokemon game

But it makes you go outside.

It doesn't just make you go outside, but you interact with others, battle with others, go to landmarks and capture Pokemon. It's the closest thing we have, now, to real life Pokemon, and it seems like what Pokemon was originally intended to be.

It's oddly addicting! I biked around for three hours today, saw a ton of people and had fun running around.

Try it. It most definitely won't be everyone's pot of soup, so to speak, but it's really appealing to some people from the social benefits it provides. Edit: read above post because I didn't read entire thread yet my bad
