I get the feeling that's an actual 'culture shock' to you considering you've been to th
Oh gee, I guess we should let everyone burn alive inside of a building, I doubt you have to worry about defibrillators due to Argentinians stealing them
There you go.
e usa like, only a few times
Nah, I've been there around 13 or 14 times. Mainly NYC and Miami

you're more likely to get laughed at than get injured when wearing a helmet over here

argentinian """people"""

pretty much, cycling on roads here with tons of cars is dangerous. I've had a relative die from a biking but that was just from hitting her skull on the side of a curb. no helmet either
o gosh
to think that could've also been me ;~;

p much could happen to me as well considering where I cycle. just saying there's no real reason to not wear helmets just because your country doesn't have cars and horrible traffic but w/e

o yea i get ur point but just the whole "what if" kinda thing with that is a lil unsettling to think about for me ya kno

no, literally just redditors which could be all kinds of people
you cant not have a bike in the netherlands
wearing a helmet is social Self Delete, from the age of 8 to like 50

actually. even senior people dont wear helmets. they literally just dont.

just watch this video lol count the helmets

right sorry missed the part where you said bicycle country in the earlier post

admittedly in the netherlands i can see helmets not being compulsory. you guys ride your bikes like it's second nature, and plus bicycle traffic doesn't move at dangerous speeds- like you said, sports bikers and children would benefit the most from helmets

but yeah sorry my reading comprehension isnt that great at like 7am or whenever i responded to you. i was thinking through your post with america, land of the car and poor bike access in mind

Stereotypical fatass, safety obsessed americans.
stereotypical scrawny, dog loving std riddled argentinians

oh no its no problem its my bad i was too heated in the conversation 😓😓

according to conspiracy theorists the end of the world is today via planet nibiru

let day 438 be etched in history forever- for about twelve seconds

lunchables hot dogs exist now

i got reminded today about how obsessive reddit is about helmets

I've noticed that the vast majority of people who bitch about helmets are either people who have never been in a situation that actually justified wearing a helmet or insecure middle aged men who shave their legs and wear tight spandex for the sole purpose of speeding down the bike lane at 60.05mph instead of 60mph. It's just forgetin' annoying.

It's the equivalent of autists who stuff their pants every time someone at the gun range hands their friend a rifle with the bolt closed. Like, yes, I get the idea behind it, but you're not stating the obvious because you care about my safety, you're doing it because you have deep seated control insecurities and you like telling other people how to live their life. Stop.

Wherever Pie Crust got the idea that Americans are big in safety, I have no idea, safety is disregarded most of the time. Most ride without helmets, motorcycles are required to wear one however

Have you ever seen factory work in 3rd world countries? It's terrifying. It's not a stretch to confuse "basic consideration for human life" with "safety obsessed" when you live in a stuffhole like Argentina
