Author Topic: It's a hate crime in the UK to upset women.  (Read 8101 times)

I hold the door open for both men and women.

50% of women just stare at me and say they can loving hold it themselves.

I thought it was common courtesy these days. In this case it's a patronizing hate crime.

are you even trying anymore

reminder that op told his girlfriend who was upset that her feelings were "only chemical reactions"

Path just got back on the path.
Tony, i can't be the only brother here that sees how dumb this stuff sound. Its not loving rocket science, just walk down the street and not harass women. It can't be that loving difficult.

Why are you guys even complaining? So what if a couple seats get taken up and women have more rights than men? Be grateful for the 🍑🍆🍒 at least damn

Giving women unwarranted bias in court has a tenancy to lead to false accusations. There was a black man who was falsely accused of rape, and his lawyer told him he should plead guilty because a jury would never believe a black man was innocent. So he was convicted.

Is the 🍑 enough to make you okay with this?

yeah cultural pressures are bad enough in court, you definitely don't want to bake those pressures into your law enforcement procedures

we are quite literally talking about laws here

then again just being accused of rape is already forgeted up, since even if your're proven innocent your life could be ruined forever.

i guess we're also talking about books because you said literally and that sounds like literature

The law is to not harass women. How does this have anything to do with a poor brother who was falsely convicted? Apparently everything because the word 'law' is in it, am i right? And to further prove theres such a strong correlation, they both involve women!

Because it's in the same caliber of stuff that's easy for women to lie about and get people to believe. How thorough do you think an investigation into a cat-call is going to be? Realistically she'd just need to get like 1 or 2 of her friends to give false testimony.

i'm fairly certain these cases are handled better than just 'listen to the victim and their biased friends.' I'd expect there to be other witnesses, checks for physical injury or signs of struggle, and if none of that works they'll probably drop it on inconclusive evidence.

Eyewitness Identification has its issues, none of which relate to the gender of the witness. You can't just blame false accusations on women and say thats a reason why women can't be trusted

You're talking about assault which was a crime before this article was published. Rape, assault, stalking and (actual) harassment are already crimes. The article is talking about tumblr-tier boohoo stuff like getting whistled at or someone raising their voice at you.
