Author Topic: Battleborn for $15 on the Humble Bundle  (Read 2033 times)

After they ruin the Duke 3d Remake and release Borderlands 3.

Is Spec Ops: The Line worth $1?

you know what would have made a better game then battleborn and overwatch, and also been a tf2 killer?
a legit, multiplayer borderlands game using similar to the known borderlands' mechanics of classes and items.

lost opportunity.

I dunno about Overwatch since they'd still be pretty different games but yeah that'd probably knock the stuff out of whatever Battleborn was.

When it goes f2p in a month or two what are they gonna give to all of the people who gave $60 to them?

Nothing?

That or some unique customisations.
Does Battleborn have cosmetic unlocks (like hats/skins) already? If not they probably will if they go f2p in order to add some microtransactions.

they added microtransactions already

also this is 2016 (yes, its current year), games dont need to be f2p to justify microtransactions now, this is just the standard for some reason...

battleborn is actually pretty fun
I also find it has more to do than overwatch, since the whole PvE part of it
it just got a bit overshadowed by overwatch hype

using more similar mechanics to borderlands would be neat though, the way borderlands does weapons is awesome

Oh yeah, I know too well that microtransactions are well established in expensive games that have no need for them (looking at you, Halo 5).

But if a game goes f2p it requires microtransactions or the game earns no money.
