What? No, I said that cutting meat intake will make you lose weight. Which is true of almost everyone. Are you seriously going to say that my claims were false because some people eat 5 bags of potato chips a day? If you replace meat with a diet of fruits and vegetables, literally everyone will lose weight. You're nitpicking on an insane level.
sorry for eating healthier and more morally than you guys though :(
I get that you're probably anemic but try to keep up.

If you somehow don't think you'll lose weight by cutting meat from your diet, you're lying to yourself. You asked for sources, and I posted them. 99% of vegans will lose weight. That's the main reason most people go vegan. You can make better arguments than this.

It can probably aid weight loss if you're eating too large of portions but this is not how weight loss and calorie burning works

How much weight could I expect to lose if I become vegan

Weight loss is a symptom of malnourishment.

Weight loss is a symptom of malnourishment.

This, too. Starving yourself to lose weight is very, VERY unhealthy. For the most part the weight loss is attributed to exercise

Usually meat intake makes up a huge percentage of someone's calory intake. If you replace that intake with less fatty foods, aka not-meat, you will lose weight. This is why 99% of vegans lose weight.

You can undereat on any diet. Let's not act like malnourishment is exclusive to veganism. Most anorexic people are omnivores.

I wonder how much you weigh

I remember you telling me you ate bacon over steam once so idk

Are you daft or what? My whole argument has been that being a vegan isn't inherently healthier than not being a vegan. Nor is losing weight something that would make everyone healthier, so I don't see why you're using that point to argue what I'm saying.

honestly if i had to pick between a animal surviving or a human surviving

human > everything else

Uh? I have before, but not since I stopped eating meat. It's one of the few meat products I still think looks good. I eat a lot of tofu bacon.

No, it's not inherently healthier, because a vegan could eat nothing but Salt and Vinegar Potato Chips. It's healthier in 99% of cases. Happy?

Usually meat intake makes up a huge percentage of someone's calory intake

You realize people eat food in meals right? Like, prepared meals with various things? What is responsible for the largest calorie intake is stuff like pizza, grain-based desserts and even alcoholic beverages. And along with that compared to sugar intake which is the real leading cause for the obesity in the US, meat alone isn't really that big of a deal.

The point is having a balanced diet. You can switch to a diet to make you lose weight quickly but it's not only unhealthy, it's not a sustainable diet. You need to find a diet that isn't too fatty or sugary while still being nutritional enough to keep you at healthy weights. Just a reminder that being underweight is still pretty unhealthy

It's healthier 99% of the time. Happy?
Not until you most some sort of scientific source that doesn't contains the words "kids health".

I'm not saying meat will make you fat. I'm saying that if you stop eating it, you'll lose weight in 99% of cases.

I posted multiple sources, and this is common knowledge. I'm not here to do research for you, dude.

Yea, obviously. Are you suggesting Vegans would save animal lives over humans?

Most of the time you lose weight because of malnutrition. Human beings are pretty much made to eat meat.
