i feel like jitank might be wrongly conflating "racism" with things that are just demographic/statistical truths, which, while they have historical roots in oppression and/or discriminatory and prejudiced treatment, aren't perpetuated simply because those feelings are still wildly present. they're perpetuated because it's just...the way things are right now, and maybe there isn't much a push for action because they're complicated issues that require a complicated solution. yes, the wrong tribal person in the wrong important position can negatively affect other people's experiences, but good luck finding figures that directly indicate how much and how badly this occurs. that doesn't necessarily mean the conclusion isn't true, or that its opposite is, it just means you're not going to have an easy time proving the claim
in any case it's pretty obvious that both jitank and everyone else is getting exhausted from this nonsense. i think that maybe it would be best if he figured out how to pick his battles because i think it's pretty obvious that it's not worth the input of energy. just let it go bro.
